How IBW Writing Club Works
Each session runs for 75 minutes and follows a simple structure.
Opening Check-In (5–10 minutes)
We arrive, settle in, and set intentions for the writing session.
Deep Writing Sprint (60 minutes)
Cameras on. Distractions off.
You write.
Quick Check-Out (5 minutes)
Celebrate progress and lock in momentum for next week.
That’s it.
No lectures.
Just focused writing time.
You log in on Tuesday morning.
A small group of authors is already there.
Dave opens the session with a quick check-in.
Everyone shares what they’re working on.
Then the timer starts.
Cameras on.
Notifications off.
For the next 60 minutes, the room goes quiet.
You write.
When the session ends, you look up and realise something simple but powerful:
Your book just moved forward.
And next week, you'll do it again.
